Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Vebuu website (vebuu.com) and the Vebuu iOS and Android apps (together, “Vebuu” or the “Service”). Vebuu is provided by Budun Tech (Harmony Tower, Odunluk Mah. Akademi Cad. No:1 A3 Blok No:13, 16000 Nilüfer/Bursa, Türkiye). By creating an account or using Vebuu, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Vebuu

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Vebuu.
• You may only have one account, and you may not share your account with anyone else.
• You must provide accurate information about yourself; you may not create an account on someone else's behalf or under a false identity.
• People whose accounts were previously closed for breaking our rules, or who have been convicted of a sexual offense, may not use Vebuu.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. If you notice any unauthorized activity on your account, let us know right away. You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Account and security → Delete account.

3. Community rules

Vebuu is a place where everyone should feel safe. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, threats, bullying, and persistent or unwanted messages.
• Hate speech; discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or identity.
• Nudity, sexual or obscene photos and messages; sending unsolicited sexual content.
• Any content involving people under 18, or any attempt to contact minors.
• Content that promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activities.
• Fake profiles, using other people's photos, impersonation.
• Scams, asking for money or gifts, investment or crypto offers, collecting personal information.
• Advertising, spam, commercial promotion, or directing people to other platforms.
• Sharing other people's personal information (phone number, address, etc.) without their permission.
• Damaging Vebuu's technical infrastructure, collecting data with automated tools (bots, scrapers), or trying to bypass security measures.

Reporting and blocking: If you come across a profile, photo, or message that breaks the rules, you can use the Report and Block options in the menu on the profile or in the chat. People you block can't see you or message you. We review reports within 24 hours at the latest; we remove content that breaks the rules and warn, restrict, or permanently close the account involved. In serious cases, we may notify the competent authorities.

4. Content you share

You are responsible for the photos and text you add to your profile and the messages you send. You remain the owner of this content; however, so that we can provide the Service (for example, showing your profile to other members or resizing photos), you grant us a worldwide, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use it for as long as your account is open. This license ends when you delete your account. You should only upload photos that you have the rights to and that show you. We may review photos before or after they are published and remove those that break the rules.

5. Premium and subscriptions

• Vebuu's core features, including messaging, are free. Vebuu Premium is an optional subscription that offers ad-free use and extra features.
• Premium is purchased in the app through the App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription automatically renews for the same length and at the then-current price. The renewal fee is charged within the 24 hours before the end of the period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; until then, you can keep using Premium. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription; you must cancel it separately in the store settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by the relevant store under Apple's and Google's own refund policies. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
• Prices and Premium features may change. Price increases will be communicated to you before the next renewal, in line with the store's rules.
• Premium is tied to your Vebuu account; Premium purchased in the app is also valid on the website with the same account.

6. Ads

We may show ads to free users. In the app, we may offer rewards, such as extra likes, in exchange for rewarded ads that you choose to watch. Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are subject to daily limits. Premium members are not shown ads.

7. Your safety

Vebuu does not systematically check the identity or background of its members; the blue check mark only shows that the profile photo belongs to the profile owner. Be careful when meeting someone you met online: hold your first meeting in a public place, let someone close to you know, and don't trust anyone who asks for money or personal information. You are responsible for your communications and meetings with other members.

8. Intellectual property

The Vebuu name, logo, design, software, and content (except what you and other members share) belong to Budun Tech. You may not copy, modify, or use them for commercial purposes without permission.

9. Suspension and termination of your account

If you violate these Terms or the law, endanger other members, or harm Vebuu, we may restrict, suspend, or close your account without prior notice. Subscription fees paid for accounts closed for breaking the rules are not refunded unless required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

We provide Vebuu “as is.” We do not guarantee that the Service will run without interruption or errors, or that you will meet or match with any particular person. We are not responsible for other members' behavior, the content they share, or meetings that take place outside Vebuu. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages. This section does not limit liability arising from intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will announce important changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you continue to use Vebuu after the changes, it means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Bursa have jurisdiction over disputes. As a consumer, you retain the right to apply to the consumer arbitration committee or consumer court at your place of residence. If you live in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply.

13. App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded Vebuu from the App Store: These Terms are between you and Budun Tech, not Apple; Budun Tech, not Apple, is responsible for the app's maintenance, support, and content. Apple has no obligation regarding claims such as the app failing to meet legal requirements; if the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce these Terms against you. If you downloaded Vebuu from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
